The excitement felt by kids of the late-70s as they were being introduced to the new Star Wars characters emerging from The Empire Strikes Back is hard-to-explain. Following an almost 3-year love affair with the release of the original Star Wars in '77, young fans were primed for a new story and with it, new characters. Names like Bossk, Lando, and IG-88 were completely foreign to us until Kenner started to roll out new action figures and we got our first taste of what was to come in the upcoming sequel. RFR V.I.P. Sonny Bahlman returns to the Q&A to discuss all of the great vintage action figures from the early 80s, along with some talk about Rebel Scum Con, Lando cologne and more.
