Cad Bane Lives?

From the new “Star Wars Timelines” book - The Fate of Cad Bane. We presumed him to be dead in The Book Of Boba Fett but the wording here, "out of action", seems non-committal and vague. Perhaps there still is more in the future for Cad Bane? Character deaths are noted for each era covered within the book. There are no such deaths mentioned for 9 ABY - The era of THE MANDALORIAN S1 & S2. #CadBaneLives
